How does the treatment work?
The Pixel8-RF provides precise and controlled coagulation and hemostasis deep within the dermis to help stimulate collagen. This provides dramatic skin tightening and rejuvenation. The treatment is customizable depending on the area of the body that is being treated.
Can the PiXel8-RF be used on all skin types?
Yes! The PiXel8-RF uses radio frequency energy and not a laser. There is minimal thermal damage to the skin which almost eliminates the risk of hyperpigmentation in darker skin types.
What should I expect after treatment?
There is minimal to no downtime with few restrictions following RF microneedling. Most patients do experience redness for up to 24 hours and mild swelling. After 24 hours you may apply makeup to the treatment area.
How long does it take to perform the treatment?
The treatment area will need to be prepared with numbing cream which usually takes 30-40 minutes. The procedure itself takes approximately 20 minutes. Plan to be at your appointment for 1 hour.
How quickly are results seen?
Obvious results are normally seen after just 1 treatment. To achieve maximum benefit a 3 treatment series is suggested with each treatment 4 weeks apart.
